Following record demand that saw Laneway Festival sell out in Sydney and Melbourne in under an hour, Handsome Tours, Laneway Presents and Astral People are proud to announce a series of sideshows showcasing some of the lineup’s brightest stars and most exciting new voices. From debuts to long-awaited returns, these shows are your chance to catch Laneway favourites up close and personal.
BENEE
Six years after her last Laneway appearance, BENEE is finally back – this time with three headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Torquay. The New Zealand artist behind ‘Supalonely’, ‘Glitter’ and ‘Soaked’ has spent the past few years taking her genre-blurring alt-pop to stages worldwide, touring with Olivia Rodrigo and Tate McRae, and playing festivals across the globe.
Her long-awaited sophomore album Ur An Angel I’m Just Particles is out November 7, led by new singles ‘Off The Rails’ and ‘Cinnamon’. The record shows BENEE at her most vulnerable and inventive yet, weaving sharp storytelling through restless pop production. Fresh from supporting Tate McRae across the UK and Europe, she now brings her magnetic live energy and new songs to Liberty Hall, 170 Russell and the Torquay Hotel.

His new album Running With Scissors marks a bold new chapter — exploring family, identity and the leap into adulthood — and features first-time collaborations that expand his sound in vital new ways.
With billions of streams, multiple platinum singles and festival appearances at Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, Primavera – and now Laneway Festival – Cavetown’s Sydney and Melbourne sideshows will bring together the songs that made him a bedroom-pop icon and the ones shaping where he’s headed next.

GEESE
Fresh off their third studio album Getting Killed, New York City four-piece Geese are set to make their long-awaited Australian debut. Chaotic in form but driven by intent, their new record is a mix of tenderness and fury that pushes the band further into untamed territory.
Garage riffs collide with Ukrainian choir samples; hissing drum machines pulse beneath screeching guitars; lullabies dissolve into furious experiments. Getting Killed captures Geese at their most unpredictable – a band tearing up their own foundations to see what comes next. This February, they quench the thirst of their cult-like fanbase with headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth alongside their spot on the Laneway Festival lineup.

Her debut EP How To Catch A Falling Knife (2023) and singles like ‘Sally’ and ‘Figurines’ showcased an artist blending grit with vulnerability.
In 2024, Perez earned her first U.S. Billboard Hot 100 entry with ‘Sailor Song’, a career-defining track now surpassing 1.7B global streams. In April of 2025, she released her latest album At The Beach, In Every Life. Los Angeles songwriter Jensen McRae brings her deeply personal storytelling to Sydney and Melbourne for her first Australian shows. Blending folk and alt-pop with lyrical precision, her music feels like a late-night conversation that cuts straight to the core.
With vivid imagery, sharp social commentary and a voice that aches with honesty, she arrives in Australia hot on the heels of her 2025 album I Don’t Know How But They Found Me! McRae is carving out her own lane – one where storytelling reigns and emotions are front and centre.
