Fresh off the back of the release of their powerful and defiant new single and video, ‘Break The Cycle‘ and news of their signing to BMG Australia & New Zealand Rise Records US, regional Victorian metalcore four-piece Ocean Sleeper are unstoppable – today revealing details for their biggest Australian national tour to date, setting stages alight this September.
The Ocean Sleeper tour presented by New World Artists and Fireball AU begins at Liberty Hall in Sydney on Friday 4th September, hitting The Princess Theatre in Brisbane on Saturday 5th, Magnet House in Perth on Thursday 10th, Hindley St Music Hall in Adelaide on Friday 11th, and ending with a massive home state show at the Forum in Melbourne on Saturday 12th September. Fans can access an artist pre-sale running Thursday 21st May 2026 – 9:00AM AEST – Saturday 23rd May 2026 – 9:00AM AEST by signing up here. General public tickets are on sale from Tuesday 26th May – 9:00AM AEST here.
Joining Ocean Sleeper across all shows will be Nevertel (US), Vana (NZ) and Outloved(AU). Hailing from Tampa, Nevertel channel razor-sharp riffs, soaring hooks and immersive atmosphere into a boundary-pushing modern rock sound that collides metalcore, nu metal, hip-hop and electronic influences. Fronted by Jeremy Michael and Raul Lopez, the band craft cinematic, emotionally-charged tracks exploring anxiety, identity and resilience. Ocean Sleeper join Nevertel on their UK/EU headline tour this June/July with Nevertel returning the favour in Australia this September. New Zealand artist, Vana (VAH-NAH), is rapidly carving out a name with an industrial alt-metal sound that fuses crushing riffs, haunting electro-pop textures, trap-inspired production and visceral breakdowns into something both chaotic and hypnotic. Victorian heavy rock outfit Outloved will round out the supports. Outloved have accumulated over 6 million streams, sold out headline shows across national tours, and performed alongside bands such as Ocean Sleeper, Point North, and Caskets.
“We can’t wait to finally be touring back home in Australia again and in our biggest rooms ever. After last year’s sold-out headline tour, we have been grinding out tours all over the world which has made our performances better than ever before.” says Ocean Sleeper’sKarl Spiessl. “The band has been growing really quickly in the last few years, very honoured to be able to play all of these shows alongside Nevertel, Vana & Outloved. We have spent a long time working on new music and we can’t wait to start performing our new single ‘Break The Cycle’ live. Everything right now is a massive step forward for the band, new music, new label signing and the crowds we get to play too.”
The years leading into 2026 saw Ocean Sleeper expand far beyond Australian shores. With multiple sold-out headline tours at home, headlining a USA tour and debut appearances across Europe, the UK, and Japan, the band has steadily cultivated a growing global audience. Back home, they recently played the Polaris-curated metal festival Life’s A Beach in Melbourne in February this year, alongside We Came As Romans, Thy Art is Murder and Caskets.
Ahead of their biggest Australian headline tour this September, they’ll first play their debut headline European shows in Eindhoven, Prague and Vienna and support US’ Nevertel across the EU/UK throughout June/July as well as appearing at Impericon Festival (Germany). Plus this October will play Hellbound Cruise – a three-day cruise dedicated to heavy music featuring alongside heavyweights Parkway Drive, Polaris, Northlane, and The Butterfly Effect – departing from Sydney Harbour. Which ever direction you look, Ocean Sleeper have proven themselves as a commanding force both through their recorded music and live on stage.
In a year that feels built for Ocean Sleeper, the four-piece have without doubt marked their thrashing return transformed – sharper, heavier, and more emotionally resonant than ever before. Following a relentless two-year stretch of international touring and writing, Ocean Sleeper have officially stepped into a new age with their most defining release ‘Break The Cycle’ and biggest headline tour ever.
