San Cisco are back, and they’re heading to the East Coast. This November, the Fremantle indie-pop collective will embark on Part 1 of their ‘Miles Away’ Regional Tour, their first run of shows in over two years. It also marks the return to performing for Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo and Scarlett Stevens, who’s back on the drums as a new mum.
The tour takes its name from the band’s forthcoming single, ‘Miles Away‘, out Thursday 15 October. Their first new music since 2024’s Under The Light, ‘Miles Away’ carries the seasoned sound of that career-defining album into a new chapter for one of Australia’s most-loved indie-pop acts.
Jordi says of the single: “‘Miles Away’ is a song about being together, but alone, loving someone deeply while feeling them retreat somewhere you cannot follow. But don’t worry – it’s all wrapped up in a sugary pop song so it’s easy to swallow!”
Blending indie rock, pop and alternative influences into a discography that swings between upbeat escapism and heartbreak, San Cisco have won a devoted global following with acclaimed tracks like ‘Awkward’ and ‘Run’. For this tour, San Cisco will play the favourites fans have missed seeing live, alongside new songs crowds will soon know by heart.
On hitting the road, the band says: “We are so ready to get out on the road and visit some of our fave regional towns on the East Coast! We’ve got a small selection of fresh tracks to throw in the mix including our soon to be released single ‘Miles Away’! We can’t wait to have a singalong and dance with you all! Let’s party! We’ve missed you all dearly.”
