Multi-platinum rock royalty Good Charlotte’s long awaited return to Australia shores is nigh, as they get set to kick off their global Motel Du Cap World Tour in Australia in a matter of days. Today, Good Charlotte are thrilled to announce exciting Gold Coast artist, Parker, will open across all shows on the Motel Du Cap Tour. The Australian act rounds out an already stacked line up on Good Charlotte’s Motel Du Cap Tour alongside Yellowcard and Kisschasy.
Due to a production release, a limited number of tickets have just been released into previously sold out categories across all shows. Final tickets are on sale now. Set times for each show have also been revealed – see below.
Quickly emerging as one of the country’s most exciting new artists, 18 year old Parker blends elements of Synth Pop, Frat Rock, and Surf with a fresh, undeniable energy that captures the raw, unfiltered emotions of youth. Innovatively releasing his debut EP HUNKY DORY in 2021 in the NFT space on the Cardano blockchain, Parker caught the attention of Joel Madden of Good Charlotte, leading to a game-changing collaboration with the MDDN team – whose mentorship and support has been invaluable in fuelling Parker’s creative journey. Parker’s singles ‘Sofa Bed’ and ‘WASTING TIME’ have generated buzz from triple j Unearthed with Anika Luna stating, “Parker brings such a fun adolescent type vibe to his music … truly an eternal youth <3”.
Good Charlotte’s Motel Du Cap World Tour celebrates the release of their highly-anticipated eighth studio album of the same name, a record that captures the rawness of their early years with the authority of artists that have conquered global stages. Each show will be a high-octane celebration of the new album and a nostalgic trip through the anthems that changed the face of alternative culture like ‘Lifestyles of the Rich & the Famous,’ ‘The Anthem,’ ‘Little Things,’ ‘I Just Wanna Live’ and so many more.
Joining Good Charlotte across their Australian and New Zealand show are beloved American pop-punk, alt-rock royalty Yellowcard. The beloved three-piece flooded the 2000’s with global hits like ‘Ocean Avenue’, ‘Only One’ and ‘Breathing’. In May this year the band released their most ambitious and emotionally resonant record of their career – Better Days – produced by blink-182’s Travis Barker, who also played drums on every track. Better Days is Yellowcard’s testimony that healing is a process, growth is nonlinear, and sometimes the best chapter opens after the supposed ending. Yellowcard recently re-released album track ‘Bedroom Posters’ with a special feature from Good Charlotte.
Treasured Australian alt-rockers, Kisschasy, will join across all Australian dates on the Motel Du Cap Tour. After emerging from the suburbs of Melbourne in 2002 with tracks like ‘Hey Jelousy’, ‘Do-Do’s And Whoa-Ohs’ and ‘Opinions Won’t Keep You Warm At Night’, Kisschasy’s rise was meteoric. They disbanded in 2015, much to the chagrin of their dedicated fanbase but reformed for Good Things festival in 2022 – it was clear that Kisschasy had unfinished business to tend to. Finally, in May 2025, that question was answered. In parallel with the vinyl reissue of Hymns For the Nonbeliever (which re-entered the Aus Album and Vinyl charts at #1), Kisschasy dropped ‘Lie To Me’, offering a modern edge to the band’s trademark sound. With three further singles out in the world, Kisschasy’s new album The Terrors of Comfort is due for release on 13 February!
With limited tickets remaining across all shows, don’t miss Good Charlotte’s home-away-from-homecoming, a world tour stop eight years in the making. Stacked lineup. Big energy. See you in the pit.
