UK indie icons Kaiser Chiefs have today announced beloved Aussie rockers The Delta Riggs as special guest on their Australian tour later this month, celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their seminal record, Employment, one of the best-selling UK debut albums of all time.
The Delta Riggs have a reputation as one of Australia’s finest live acts, with multiple sold out headline tours. They are a staple act on the festival circuit and have shared stages with the likes of Foo Fighters, Billy Idol, KISS and Kasabian.
It is Kaiser Chiefs’ first visit to these shores since 2012, when they packed out venues across the country – they also played an exhilarating set at Splendour in the Grass along with sideshows in 2011.
The Employment tour will commence on Sunday November 23 at RAC Arena Perth, followed by Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Tuesday November 25, Hordern Pavilion Sydney on Thursday November 27 and concluding at Fortitude Music Hall Brisbane on Friday November 28.
